FOGET sees the National Sanitation Day policy embarked on by the Local Government as a good policy. However the policy is not being well patronized and the momentum is dying off.
Since one of the objectives of FOGET is to promote and leave sustainable legacies, we deem it necessary to organize this exercise, mobilize the whole community, and spread the awareness that a clean and a healthy environment is the responsibility of those living in that environment.
The clean-up exercise was covered by major media housed such as The Chronicle Newspaper, Radio Ghana, Ghana News Agency, etc. To read more on what they had to say click on this link
