FOGET School Club Executive Training Workshop

Raising generational leaders is the utmost vision of the Foundation for Generational Thinker’s School Club Initiative. In keeping to this vision, FOGET organized a one day Leadership Training Workshop for Club Executives in the various basic schools in the country at the Accountant Generals Department Training School at Dansoman – Accra on Friday December 8, 2017.

The Executives were taken through various leadership skills application activities on their various portfolios; President, Vice President, Secretary, Organizer, Trustee, and Treasurer.

They were also guided on how to handle and work with club members, transference of leadership skills to community work by engaging in peer education, especially on promoting sanitation and environmental sustainability.

They were inspired to become great leaders, and to achieve success in their academic work as well as in leadership.

The Club is currently being run in some Junior High Schools in the Capital of Ghana, Accra. It is our expectation that this initiative will be extended to other parts of the country and the continent of Africa in years to come.

We hope to keep mentoring the young ones as they grow to become ethically great leaders in the next generation.
